Miya Folick, a Los Angeles based singer/songwriter, started classical voice training at the age of ten and went on to study drama at NYU, before moving back to California to concentrate on writing music.

Deciding she needed a band to showcase her material live, Folick used dating app Tinder as a platform to seek out musicians, and successfully found herself a bass player. Having spent the last few years touring with artists including Kate Nash and Yeasayer, Folick released her debut album in October, Premonitions, which she co-produced with Justin Raisen.
